Capacity

Goals

SVN will improve organizational and financial stability. We will do this through the expansion of training options and products, credentialing, conference growth, increased volunteer engagement, enhanced diversity and inclusion, while exploring new funding sources

 Desired Achievement

Financial Stability will have improved substantially due to exploring new funding sources, and increasing training, credentialing, conference and product revenue which will allow SVN to fund initiatives identified in this strategic plan

The annually updated Board Procedural manual will enable effective recruiting and onboarding of Board members, that improves the stability of the organization.

Enhanced commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion will increase the organizational reach and potential for growth

Strategies

SVN Board and Staff will engage in ongoing efforts to make sure all conferences, trainings, and products are diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible

Dedicate increased staff time to education and outreach to potential new members (e.g. private providers) and collaborative professionals (legal, social service, legislative)

Create more inclusive opportunities for members to participate in focus groups, task forces, and committees
